  Description

  On a slight rise in an undulating landscape. Subcircular grass-covered platform with some deciduous trees (dims 36m NNE-SSW; 30.2m WNW-ESE) defined by a scarp (H 1.2-1.8m) E-S-W merging into the slope elsewhere, with traces of a silted fosse (Wth of top 4.4m; Wth of base 1m; D 0.25m) SE-SW. • RO048-088002 Church
  Description

  In the S interior of rath (RO048-088001-). This is a rectangular masonry structure (ext. dims 18.6m WNW-ESE; 6.3m NNE-SSW), of which the N and S walls survive (Wth 0.6m; H 1.4m) with two slit windows on each wall and an entrance towards W end of the N wall.   Description

  Marked only on the 1915 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a small feature (diam. c. 10m), and situated on a slight N-S esker ridge. Subcircular earthen mound with deciduous trees (diam. of base 16.7m WNW-ESE; 15m NNE-SSW; H 1m N-E to 1.5m at S) with a gently rounded summit (dims 9.3m WNW-ESE; 8m NNE-SSW). • RO048-095 Ringfort - cashel
  Description

  On the crest of a N-S esker ridge. Circular grass-covered platform with some trees (diam. 34.5m NE-SW; 33m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (at SSW: Wth 4.15m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1m) with inner and outer stone facing-stones (original Wth 1.5-1.6m) visible SSE-WSW, but the perimeter is overlain by field walls elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. Cashel (RO048-094----) is c. 180m to the ENE and barrow (RO048-093----) is c. 70m to the N.
