Description
Marked only on the 1927 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a rise in a gently undulating landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 22m N-S; 21m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.6-5.7m; int. H 0.5-0.7m; ext. H 1.1.-1.5m) SE-W-NE which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.9m) elsewhere. Description
On an E-facing slope at the tip of a W-E spur overlooking a slight coll with valleys off it to the N and S. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 28.5m NE-SW; 28.2m NE-SW) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3-4.5m; int. H 0.3-0.6m; ext. H 1-1.7m) SE-W-NNW which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.6-2.2m) elsewhere. The ramp entrance (Wth 2.2m) is at SE, the lowest point of the perimeter, and a rectangular grass-covered enclosure or annexe (RO022-028002-) (dims 30m NE-SW; 20m NW-SE) defined by scarps (H 0.5-1m) is attached to the W.
