  Description

  Towards the bottom of a SE-facing slope. Flat-topped grass-covered mound with some bushes (diam. of base 11m E-W; 10.6m N-S; diam. of top 9m N-S; 8.4m E-W; H 0.7m at S to 1.2m at W) defined by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 3-3.8m; Wth of base 1.2-1.5m; D 0.3m at S to 0.7m at W).   Description

  Marked as a circular embanked feature (ext. diam. c. 20m) on the 1837 and 1927 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated towards the bottom of the SW-facing slope of a broad NW-SE ridge. Described as a circular mound surrounded by a rounded fosse (Gannon 1972), it is not now visible at ground level in pasture.   Description

  On a gentle SW-facing slope of a broad NW-SE ridge. Circular grass-covered platform with two trees (diam. 13.3m NE-SW; H 0.8m at NE to 1.3m at SW) defined by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 4m; Wth of base 1.8m; D 0.6m at NE) SW-W-NE. A NE-SW field bank truncates the fosse at SE, and a NW-SE field bank truncates the fosse at SW. Barrow (RO027-050----) is c. 370m to the NW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010

  Description

  On a gentle S and SW-facing slope. Flat-topped grass-covered earthen bank (Wth of base 3m; Wth of top 1.5m; H 1.1-1.2m) separated by berm (Wth 3.3m) from a drystone wall and townland boundary with Ardnamullagh to its W, which is built on the foundations of an older wall.   Description

  Detached four-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c.1860, with single-bay extension to rear and outbuildings to east. Hipped thatched roof with rendered chimneystack, tiled to extension. Roughcast-rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with timber top-hung windows. Square-headed door opening with timber battened half door. Stone outbuildings with corrugated roofs.
