Description
In pasture, at the E end of a ridge. A raised circular area (diam. 36m) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 1.3m; ext. H 2.2m) topped by a low stone wall. A shallow external fosse (Wth 3m) is evident along the N and SW arcs. There is a possible souterrain (SL027-102002-) in the SE quadrant of the interior. Description
In the SE quadrant of a rath (SL027-102001-). There are no visible remains of the feature named 'Cave (site of)' on the 1914 OS 6-inch map.
