It is located at the SE edge of the plateau on the summit of Truskmore Mountain. This is a modern pile of stones and is the same as (SL006-063----). This is one of a series of eight cairns (SL006-043----; SL006-044----; SL006-047----; SL006-048----; SL006-049----; SL006-050----; SL006-051----; SL006-063----) which mark the boundary between counties Sligo and Leitrim in inhospitable mountainous terrain. Located at the E edge of the Truskmore plateau. This is a modern-looking pile of stones. Note: This is the same monument as LE003-030----. Compiled by: Patrick F. Located at the E edge of the Truskmore plateau. On inspection in 1994 this was considered to be a modern-looking pile of stones. Note: This is the same monument as LE003-032----.   Not listed in either the SMR (1989) or RMP (1995). Not marked on the 1837 edition of the OS 6-inch map. This is one of a series of eight cairns (SL006-043----; SL006-044----; SL006-047----; SL006-048----; SL006-049----; SL006-050----; SL006-051----; SL006-063----) which mark the boundary between counties Sligo and Leitrim in inhospitable mountainous terrain. Located at the E edge of the Truskmore plateau. This modern-looking piles of stones is one of a series of boundary markers that define the border between counties Sligo and Leitrim. This is a post-AD 1700 feature. Note: This monument is not marked on the County Sligo OS 6-inch maps. It is marked 'Pile of stones' on the 1910 edition of the OS 6-inch map for County Leitrim (SL003-027----), unlike the remaining boundary markers between the counties which are are shown on the maps for both counties.
