  Situated on a low hillock in undulating countryside. Depicted as a circular enclosure on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map. The barely discernible outline of a destroyed circular enclosure (approx. diam. 35m). No other features visible.   Description

  Situated on a S-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area. A circular area (diam. 40m NE-SW) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 2m) reduced in places to a scarp with an outer fosse (Wth 4m; D 0.5m) and possible external bank (Wth 2m; H 0.1m) visible at NE only. Causewayed entrance gap (Wth 4.5m) at SE. A modern field fence intersects the fosse and outer bank at S on an E-W axis. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
