  Description

  On the crest of a natural rise in land sloping gradually to the SE in hilly terrain, under pasture. Monument levelled in 1950s, described as 'a small field of irregular shape, bounded only by a dry stone wall ...[of] no archaeological interest and may be included in Land Project Schemes' (OPW Files, April 1956). The monument is visible as a circular area (diam. 40m N-S; 41m E-W), defined in the N quadrant by a field bank (Wth c. 3m; H 0.77m) and elsewhere by a gently sloping scarp (H 1m).   Detached four-bay single-storey thatched house, built c.1800, having flat-roofed single-storey extension to south and lean-to single-storey extension to north. Hipped reed thatched roof. Square-headed openings. Outbuildings to yard.
