The development will consist of (1) Integrated Constructed Wetland (ICW) type Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) for the treatment of wastewater from the Grangemockler agglomeration comprising of 1 No. septic tank and 4No. ICW ponds; (2) Provision of a new terminal wastewater pumping station and stormwater management at the site of the existing Slievardagh Estate Developer Provided Infrastructure (DPI) WWTP, which is to be decommissioned; (3) Access road surrounding the ICW ponds; (4) decommissioning of 2 existing septic tanks (Mill River and Lingaun Park); (5) Ancillary works associated with the development including the associated pipework, fencing and landscaping; (6) pedestrian access via new footbridge over the Currasilla Stream; (7) upgrade existing culvert bridge under existing access road; (8) the installation of a ground mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) array. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) will be submitted to the Planning Authority with this application.

Description
In pasture, on a gentle N-facing slope. Remains of circular area (dims. 20m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by levelled bank (int. H 0.55m; ext. H 0.65m; Wth 13.8m). Interior tends downslope to N and is incorporated into rest of field as pasture. Enclosure (TS071-030----) located 220m to SE and ringfort (TS071-020----) located 230m to N. Description
In pasture, on a gentle NE-facing slope. Circular area (dims. 32m N-S; 30m E-W) depicted on latest edition OS 6-inch map. Remains of D-shaped area (dims. 26m N-S; 18m E-W) defined by levelled bank (int. H 0.05m; ext. H 0.4m; Wth 8m) NNW-SSE and no trace SSE-NNW. Straight side (long-axis c. NNW-SSE) is defined by ridge (int. H 0.85m; ext. H 0.5m; Wth 14.5m) which may either be straightened bank or a later field boundary, which bisects monument. Remains of interior to E incorporated into rest of field as pasture. Ringfort (TS071-029----) located 220m to NW and enclosure (TS071-031----) located 150m to ESE. Description
In pasture, on a gentle SE-facing slope. Sub-circular area (dims. 25m N-S; 29m E-W) defined by earthen scarp (Wth 3m; H 0.35m) SW-NE and truncated by field boundary NE-SW; sizeable breached (Wth 11m) at SW. Intervening fosse¹ (Wth 9.5m; D 0.55m) is SW-NE and is partially truncated NE-SW. Intervening bank (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 1.2m; Wth 9.8m) survives SW-NE. Intervening fosse² (Wth 7.8m; D 1.0m) exists SW-NE. Outer bank (int. H 1.2m; ext. H 0.2m; Wth 3.4m) is intermittent SW-NE. Interior slopes down gently to SE. Inner scarp breached (Wth 3.5m; L 8m) into interior at NNE and second breach (Wth 4.5m; L 8m) at same may indicate quarrying. Sizeable depression within to W may also indicate quarrying. Description
In pasture, on a relatively steep E-facing slope, with good views across valley to E. Sub-oval area (dims. 28m N-S; 36m E-W) defined by bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.0m; Wth 6.2m) and external fosse (Wth 6.4m; D 1.1m) SW-W. Monument enclosed by remains of levelled scarp (Wth 4.9m; H 0.95m) W-N-ENE and slight low profile bank (Wth 7.9m; int. H 0.15m; ext. H 1.3m) ENE-SE. Truncated by field boundary SE-SW. Interior slopes down sharply to E; large erratic conglomerate boulder within to ENE is resting on smaller stones.
