  Description

  Situated on flat, low-lying, poorly drained land with a stream to the S. A well-preserved horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (dims. 11.2m x 10m; 0.7m H); open to the NE. The trough area is waterlogged and measures 3m x 3m. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
