In level pasture. Slightly raised (H 0.3m) circular area (dims. c. 24m N-S; c. 24m E-W) defined by slightly visible trace of fosse (Wth 1.5m; D 0.05m) S-W-N. Description
In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope. Roughly oval area (dims. c. 47m N-S; c. 39m E-W) defined by earthen bank (Wth c. 8.5m; int. H c. 0.9m; ext. H c. 1.4m) NE-S-W-NW. Bank gone and modified to N. Possible entrance (Wth c. 5m) at SSE. Breach in bank at ENE (Wth c. 2m). External fosse (Wth c. 6.5m; D c. 0.45m) SSW-W. Bank covered in whitethorn with some ash. Interior clear of vegetation, except N side where there are lots of briars. Enclosure (TS068-095----) located c. 300m to SSW; Ringfort (TS068-080----) located c. 530m to NE. Description
In level pasture, with drain/stream flanking S-side. Circular area (dims. c. 33m N-S; c. 34m E-W) defined by earthen scarp (Wth c. 4m; H c. 1.5m); inner fosse (Wth c. 9.25m; D c. 1.5m) in which stream enters from SE and exits at SW; inner bank (Wth c. 9.25m; int. H 1.3m; ext H c. 0.7m); outer fosse (Wth c. 5.75m; D 1.1m) and outer bank (Wth c. 6.25m; int. H c. 1.1m; ext. H c. 0.3m). Interior level with numerous badger sets within. Description
Detached five-bay two-storey house over half-basement, built c.1760, having full-height two-storey with attic and basement return to rear, two-storey lean-to to north end of rear and single-storey lean-to to south. Possibly incorporating fabric of an earlier building. Two-bay single-storey outbuilding abuts to south. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Roughcast rendered walls with moulded limestone eaves course. Square-headed openings, with one-over-one timber pane sliding sash windows to upper floors of front façade having raised render surrounds with keystones and cut limestone sills, with internal decoratively panelled timber shutters to windows. Timber casement windows to return. Square-headed entrance opening having glazed double-leaf panelled timber doors in carved limestone surround with block motifs, fluted consoles, carved double keystone and entablature. Flight of limestone steps to entrance having rendered walls terminating in square-plan plinths with panelled render detail. Outbuildings to north, with pitched corrugated-iron roofs and coursed rubble limestone walls with square-headed openings. North outbuilding is three-bay, formerly two-storey, having timber fittings to windows. South outbuilding is five-bay stables with timber battened half-doors. Square-profile roughcast render over limestone piers having carved caps with ball finials and cast-iron gate. Roughcast render over coursed rubble limestone masonry boundary walls.

Description
Detached six-bay two-storey house over half-basement, built c.1860, having bay window to east end of façade and two-bay two-storey extension to west gable. Hipped slate roof with overhanging sheeted eaves and rendered chimneystacks. Painted roughcast rendered walls. Square-headed openings with timber sliding sash six-over-six pane windows to façade of main block, with limestone sills. Bay window comprising six-over-nine pane window flanked by four-over-six pane windows, with moulded heads to windows, moulded pilasters between windows bearing on carved limestone corbels which are part of continuous limestone sill. Barred windows to basement. Segmental-headed entrance opening with decorative spoked fanlight and timber panelled double-leaf door having carved consoles, panelled pilasters and paned flanking three-quarter sidelights. Flight of limestone steps to entrance. Multiple-bay single-storey outbuilding to west having pitched slate roof and rubble limestone walls. Roughcast rendered boundary walls to west having pointed arch opening with timber battened door.
