  Description

  Situated on a high E-W ridge, sloping slightly to the SE, in pastureland. Depicted as an oval enclosure on the 1st ed. (1843) OS 6-inch map with a field boundary transecting the W portion. Not indicated on the 1904 ed. suggesting it was levelled in the latter half of the nineteenth century. Not visible at ground level.   Description

  Situated on S-facing slope in pasture. A roughly circular site (diam. 45m N-S; 42m E-W) delimited by the remains of a fosse. A NNW-SSE field boundary, earthen with stone-facing, indicated on the latest ed. OS 6-inch map, curves to accommodate the E sector of the site.
