Description
Situated on a W-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area. A circular area (diam. 30m approx.) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 1m:ext. H 1m) with a shallow external fosse (Wth 2m). Dense overgrowth makes detailed examination impossible. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Description
Local tradition of a tunnel from the ringfort (TN010-030001) to a nearby castle (TN010-018). Field inspection in 1995 could find no surface indications of a souterrain.
