  In undulating pasture, on slightly higher area of field. Oval area (dims. 26m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.2m) NW-E-SSW and scarp (Wth 2.7m; H 1.4m) SSW-NW; Possible entrance (Wth 1.75m) at W. Bank has occasional cattle breaches (Wth c. 1-1.5m) and is denuded SSE-SSW. Fosse (Wth 8m; D 0.25m). Remains of low profile outer bank (Wth 7m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.2m) traceable SE-SW and NNW-N and NNE-ENE. Interior has a general slope to E and is covered in tussocks of grass; Depression within is defined S-W-NE; Linear feature (long-axis E-W; L c. 2m; Wth 1.35m; D 0.25m) in W sector may be associated with possible entrance.   Description

  In low-lying wet terrain of former meandering streams, with a stream flowing roughly NW-SE c. 60m to the W, in pasture. A circular enclosure (overall diam. c. 9m), defined by a fosse, visible on satellite imagery (Google Earth satellite imagery, 16 December 2016 and 20 January 2020), identified and reported by Jean-Charles Caillère. There are two ring-barrows (TS066-204----; TS066-205----) c. 650m and 610m to the NW respectively. • Roesborough House, country house, 1800–1840 · Regional interest
  Description

  Detached seven-bay two-storey over basement house, built c.1820, now in state of ruin. Presents two storeys to front and three to rear and has two-bay end elevations. Roofless with cut limestone corbel table to eaves and having red brick chimneystacks. Roughcast rendered rubble limestone walls with red brick internal masonry and render quoins. Square-headed window openings with brick surrounds and limestone sills. Tall round-headed window to middle of rear elevation. Some blocked segmental-arched openings to west end of rear. Remains of doorcase with limestone Doric engaged column, with steps. Seven-bay and five-bay ranges of two-storey outbuildings to rear of house with pitched slate roofs, rendered chimneystacks, limestone corbel tables and rendered and painted walls with double timber casement windows and round-headed pedestrian and elliptical-headed vehicular entrances. Flat-headed carriageway through middle of smaller range with recessed round-headed panel overhead occupying first floor and having keystone.
