  Description

  Adjacent to a natural spring holy well (TS050-019002-) situated on a slight rise of ground with a nearby river, a tributary of the Dead River, c. 13m to the W. The well was covered in by Tipperary South County Council in the 1940s when a water pump was placed on the site of the well (local information). A nearby holy bush in the form of a thorn bush was located beside the well and was referred to as 'Skagh-minoge' upon which fragments of clothing were attached as votive offerings (Seymour 1917, 39). There are several bushes beside the well, none bearing rags, one of which may be the holy bush. A bullaun stone (TS050-021----) was moved from this location to a garden c. 230m to the NE.   Description

  At the base of a S-facing slope of rising ground in undulating countryside. A large boulder (dims. 1.74m x 1.7m) with three hollow depressions on its surface (dims. 0.4m x 0.3m x 0.1m; 0.3m x 0.25m x 0.5m; 0.47m x 0.44m x 0.2m) which according to Seymour (1917, 39) was removed from a holy well (TS050-019002-), just over 1km to the S, immediately outside the village of Toem.
