Marked as a small embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 25m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated in pasture on a NE-facing slope, it is not visible at ground level. Located on the gentle S-facing slope a broad NW-SE ridge. Circular scrub-covered area (diam. 29m) defined by an earthen bank (at NNW: Wth 5.5m; int. H 1.2m; ext. H 0.7m). Located on a gentle S-facing slope of a broad NW-SE ridge. Circular area (diam. 30m NNW-SSE) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at S: Wth 5.5m; int. H 1.2m; ext. H 1.7m at S). There is no visible fosse, and the original entrance cannot be identified. Rath (WA032-002----) is c. 30m to the NE on the other side of a NW-SE road. Description
Situated on the S-facingl slope of a broad NW-SE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 35m NNE-SSW) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at NNE: Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.95m; ext. H 0.5m) with slight traces of an inner fosse which may have been excavated to supply material for the bank on the uphill side of the rath. The perimeter is truncated slightly at SE by a NE-SW field bank. There is no identifiable entrance. Description
According to Power (1898, 154) numerous slab-lined inhumations were exposed at the S end of the Great Southern Railway tunnel in Ballyvole during its construction, but Mongey placed the burials c. 500m further S on a W-facing slope overlooking the NW-SE Dalligan River (NMI file), with the stream c. 110m to the SW and the N-S rail line c. 120m to the NW. Located in pasture on the crest of a SW-facing slope at the mouth of the Dalligan River. Described as a cairn (diam. c. 15m) in which a lintelled passage was found sometime before 1940 when the cairn was removed (NMI file). Not visible at ground level. Located in pasture on a W-facing slope at the mouth of the N-S Dalligan River, with the stream c. 270m to the W and the sea c. 240m to the SW. It is described as a cairn which was destroyed c. 1920 (NMI file). Some clearance material is still evident. Cairn (WA032-022001-) is c. 120m to the W, ringfort (WA032-024----) is c. 150m to the NNE, and ringfort (WA032-026----) is c. 160m to the ESE. Situated in a slight S-facing fold, with sea cliffs c. 300m to S. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 23m) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at NNW: Wth 5.5m; int. H 1.05m; ext. H 0.95m) which is destroyed SE-SSW and incorporated into a field bank NE-SE. There is no visible fosse or entrance. The interior is eroded by cattle. Description
Detached three-bay single-storey thatched cottage, c.1830. Extensively renovated and extended, c.1980, comprising single-bay two-storey flat-roofed return ‘tower’ to south with single-bay single-storey flat-roofed projecting glazed porch added. Hipped roof with reed thatch having rope work to ridge, and rendered squat chimney stack. Flat felt roofs to return ‘tower’ and to porch with timber eaves. Painted roughcast lime rendered walls with slight batter. Square-headed window openings with no sills, and timber fittings. Square-headed window openings to return ‘tower’ with concrete sills, and timber casement windows. Square-headed openings to porch with no sills, fixed-pane timber windows, and glazed timber door. Set back from road in own grounds with landscaped grounds to site.

Description
Freestanding single-bay single-stage rubble stone lime kiln, c.1830, on a square plan. Now disused and derelict. Random rubble stone walls with remains of lime mortar. Round-headed opening to oven with red brick, and rubble stone voussoirs. Road fronted an part engaged into side of hill.

Description
Four-span railway viaduct over river, built 1923, incorporating fabric of earlier viaduct, opened 1878, on site. Decommissioned, 1982. Now disused. Unpainted mass-concrete tapered pylon piers with coping over. Broken coursed squared rubble limestone abutment walls continuing into parapets on stringcourses having cut-stone coping. Series of four flat cast-iron spans on cast-iron girders and trusses, with sections of iron railings to parapets. Sited spanning Dalligan River valley with forested banks to valley.

Description
Railway tunnel, opened 1878. Closed, 1967. Now disused. Elliptical-headed openings to tunnel with cut-stone voussoirs, and squared rubble stone soffits forming barrel vault to tunnel with remains of lime render over. Sited passing through slight hill with overgrown banks to valley originally accommodating railway line.
