  Description

  Situated on a low natural rise on poorly drained rushy land with good views to the NW and SW. Circular raised area (diam. 30m) enclosed by a low wide earthen bank, water-logged fosse and wide low external bank visible from WSW-W-N-NNE only with causewayed entrance (Wth 4m) at ESE. The interior has slight traces of cultivation ridges running NE-SW. See attached profile of monument surveyed and drawn by the ASI. • WM002-021 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  Situated on a slight rise in fairly well drained land with good views of the surrounding country side. Ringfort (WM002-031----) 35m to W and second ringfort (WM002-023---) 90m to NE. A large polygonal shaped area (dims. 72m N-S ; 48m E-W) enclosed by a low earth and stone bank (int. H 1m) best preserved at N with no evidence for an enclosing fosse or entrance feature. The interior has a gentle slope from N to S. There are traces of NE-SW cultivation ridges running through the interior. • WM002-031 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  Situated on a slight rise with fairly good views of the surrounding countryside. Ringfort (WM002-021----) 35m to E. The outline of this levelled monument is barely visible on Digital Globe aerial photographs taken November 2011. Upstanding monument described in 1974 as a small circular area (diam. 29m N-S; 31m E-W) defined by a low poorly preserved earth and stone bank with no evidence of an enclosing fosse or entrance feature. Architectural heritage

• Worker's house, 1840–1860 · Regional interest
  Description

  A pair of semi-detached three-bay single-storey estate workers dwellings, built c.1850, now out of use and derelict. Hipped natural slated roof with remains of a shared central chimneystack. Constructed of coursed rubble limestone, formerly limewashed. Square-headed openings with cut stone sills having the remains of cast-iron multipane casement windows. Central square-headed doorcase to centre of front façade of each building (south) having remains of timber sheeted doors. Set back from road in own grounds and a short distance to the east of Kildevin House (15400210).
