  Description

  Situated on a slight natural rise. Annotated as a ‘fort’ on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map, and depicted as a small circular shaped earthwork/enclosure (approx. diam. 12m) on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map. No surface remains visible of levelled monument. Small size of enclosure might suggest that this was a possible ring-barrow rather than a ringfort.   Description

  Situated in pasture-land on E facing slope of rising ground with good views from N-E-SE, overlooked by a hill to W. Ringfort (WM007-095----) 37m to S. A slightly raised oval shaped area (approx. diam. 21m NW-SE), enclosed by a well preserved earth and stone bank (max. H 1m) and wide deep external fosse (max. D 2m). Causewayed entrance gap at E.   Description

  Situated on E facing slope of rising ground with good views from N-E-SE, overlooked by hill to W. Grass-covered wall footings of a sub-circular shaped hut site (approx. dims. 6m NE-SW; 4m NW-SE) are visible in centre of ringfort (WM007-094----). • WM007-095 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  Situated in pasture-land on NE facing slope of prominent hill with good views from N-E-SE, overlooked by a hill to W. Ringfort (WM007-094----) 37m to N. A sub-circular shaped area (approx. dims. 31m NE-SW; 29m NW-SE) enclosed by a well preserved earthen bank, a narrow shallow fosse and traces of an outer bank only visible from ENE-E-S. The interior slopes from W-E and has traces of cultivation ridges which run E-W. The monument has been disturbed by digging along its perimeter from NNE-N-NNW. A modern fence bisects the site from WNW-ESE, appears to have been built sometime in the last few years and is visible on Digital Glober aerial photograph taken November 2011.
