Description
Situated on a low-lying landscape, with a small S-N stream c. 100m to the E and a small W-E stream c. 100m to the N. The cropmark of a circular enclosure (int. diam. c. 35m) defined by an inner fosse feature and a narrower outer ditch (ext. diam. c. 45m) is visible on aerial photographs (ASIAP (101) 0-2). The features are not visible on the N side of an ENE-WSW field bank and the cropmarks of single drains in the vicinity do not connect with the defining features. The cropmark of an oval enclosure (dims c. 30m NE-SW; c. 25m NW-SE) which is defined by an uncertain fosse feature which might have an inturned entrance at SE is visible on digital aerial photographs (WX050-025_1 to _3) from July 2006. Description
Located towards the top of the N-facing slope of a broad, low hill. The cropmark of a D-shaped enclosure (dims c. 30m N-S; c. 25m E-W) which is defined by a single fosse feature is visible on digital aerial photographs (WX050-026_1 to _3) from July 2006.
