  Description

  Located on a slight ENE-WSW ridge. The cropmark of a D-shaped area (dims. c. 35m NW-SE; c. 30m NE-SW) defined by a single feature that may have been a bank and which is truncated by a NE-SW field bank at NW is visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP, BDR 24). It is not visible at ground level in a harvested cereal crop. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). • WX027-033 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  Located on a slight S-facing slope with a slight NW-SE stream c. 50m to the SE. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 36m NE-SW; 34m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3m; int. H 1-1.3m; ext. H 1.3-1.6m), with traces of an outer fosse (at NW: Wth of top 4m; D 0.4m) SW- NNW. The bank is denuded and reduced to a scarp (H 1.3m) E-SSW. There are cattle entrances at NE and SW.
