  Description

  Situated towards the foot of a marked W-facing slope in improved pasture. Marked on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a small enclosure (max. diam. c. 25m). Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). • WI035-008 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  Situated on a very gentle E/N-facing slope. Circular site (diam. c. 30m) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.3m at S - 4.5m NE-E; H 0.5-1.1m). At the W the bank merges with a more substantial field bank. At the E the upper part of the bank has been removed while the whole bank has been demolished along a c. 10m long segment at the SW. There is no trace of a fosse. A 1.2m gap at NW may be a modern feature. The interior is level and striped with lazy beds.
