  Description

  Situated on a gentle SW-facing slope. Possible enclosure hachured on the 1838 OS 6-inch map (max. diam. 40m). Not visible at ground level. • WI039-033 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  Situated on a gentle S-facing slope. Oval trivallate ringfort (diam 37.5m; max. ext. dims. 80m NE-SW; 60m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (max. Wth 6.5m; H 1-1.8m), an external fosse (Wth 3-5m; D 0.8-1.5m), an outer bank (Wth 2.5m; H 0.8m) and another earthen bank (Wth 3-4m) separated from the middle bank by a flat open area 5-15m wide. There is an entrance feature (Wth 3m) in the innermost bank at the SE with a corresponding causeway (Wth 4.5m) across the fosse. No indication of internal features.   Description

  Situated on a very gentle SW-facing slope overlooking a marshy area. Poorly preserved oval enclosure (dims. 29m NE-SW; 21m NW-SE) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2-3m; max. H 1m) partly obscured by dumped field boulders. No indication of a fosse or entrance.   Description

  Situated on level ground on the NE edge of a marshy area. Circular area (diam. 26.5m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.5m; H 0.9-1.25m) and an external fosse (Wth 2.2m; D 0.4-1.5m). Within the bank from SW-W is a narrow drain, probably modern. No indication of an entrance or internal features.   Description

  Circular area (diam. 20m) defined by earthen bank (Wth 2-4m; H 1.5-2m) with internal stone cladding. In centre of stream with leat (now dry) breaching bank at NE, following inner edge of bank at N and W and exiting at SW. Rough pasture. While the bulk of the monument lies in Co.
