In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Aerial photographs (CUCAP AYL 27, 28) show circular area defined by cropmark of fosse (est max. diam. c. 45m). Close to centre a much smaller circular feature, similarly defined, is also visible. No visible features at ground level. Possibly a ringfort, with hut site.

- CW012-130 Burial
Description
Excavated in advance of construction of the N9/N10 Kilcullen-Waterford Road (Excavation Licence number E2588). A single inhumation orientated N-S in an extended supine position was discovered in a ditch. Analysis of the remains showed it to be a young adult female aged between 17 and 25 years and radiocarbon dating provided a medieval date. Two cremation pits (CW012-143---- and CW012-144----) were located c. 32m east. Description
Partially excavated in advance of construction of the N9/N10 Kilcullen-Waterford Road (Excavation Licence number E2600). Two small deposits of material containing heat shattered stones and charcoal were uncovered under which lay a possible trough (L 1.1m N/S; Wth 1.05m; D 0.35m). Description
Excavated in advance of construction of the N9/N10 Kilcullen-Waterford Road (Excavation Licence number E2588). One of two cremation pits (see also CW012-144----), (L 0.88m; Wth 0.62m; D 0.27m) which contained a small amount of cremated human remains of one individual whose age at death was assessed to be between 3 and 10 years. A single chert artefact was found in the pit. A single inhumation (CW012-130----) were located c. 32m west. Description

A ditch (Wth 1.8m; D 0.31m) of which c. 14m was uncovered and ran beyond the extent of the road corridor to the S.
