  Description

  Raised oval area (int. dims. 44m N-S; 38m E-W) enclosed by a partially denuded earthen bank and slight remains of a fosse. Perimeter has been modified and incorporated into the field boundary. Original entrance not recognisable. The site has been planted with coniferous trees. A spring well lies a short distance to WSW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
