Description
Attached three-bay single-storey former railway goods shed, built 1862-3, renovated and extended to the side and rear in c.2000, connecting to former station. Now in office use. Pitched replacement slate roof with overhanging eaves to road, replacement bargeboards at gables, recent rooflights to yard side and replacement rainwater goods. Squared rubble limestone walls with two dressed stone piers to street front between square-headed door openings with timber heads and segmental relieving arches now infilled to form windows with fairfaced blockwork. Circular windows to west elevation with dressed stone voussoir surrounds, high level semi-circular windows to end gables, all with uPVC multiple-pane windows.

Description
Attached four-bay two-storey former railway station, built 1862-3, with advanced bay to north and gable fronted timber canopy to entrance. Renovated and extended to the side and rear, c.2000, now in office use. Hipped slate roof with overhanging bracketed eaves and replacement rainwater goods and recent latern with clock to ridge. Uncoursed snecked limestone ashlar walls with skewed perpend joints and rough-dressed finish, punch-dressed plinth and V-jointed block-and-start quoins. Square-headed window openings with cut-stone sills, dressed arrises and reveals and uPVC windows. Moulded ashlar architraves to windows in advanced northern bay to rear formerly facing platform with cornice hood to ground floor window. Slated canopy composed of timber truss and posts with chamfer-stop detail set on chamfered stone blocks. Segmental-headed doorcase with cut-stone roll moulding to arris and four-panelled door with segmental head flanked by narrow window openings. Four-bay ancillary building to the north formerly opening onto platform to similar detail with pitched slated roof, V-jointed quoins, ashlar window architraves and pair of central doors with roll-moulded arrises. Some cut-stone blocks to platform edge survive.

Description
Detached L-plan three-bay two-storey house, built 1845, with advanced gabled end bay, decorative cast- and wrought-iron loggia over single-storey canted bay to side, lean-to conservatory to front and two-storey timber-clad extension to rear c.2005. Range of former outbuildings incorporated into house to north. Pitched slate roof with oversailing eaves and verge having plain fascia and barge boards, rendered diagonal chimney stacks with decorative pots. Smooth rendered walls to front with textured render to rear and sides. Square-headed window openings with historic six-over-six timber sliding sash windows and narrow render window surrounds to side and rear. Tudor-arched window over entrance with bipartite multi-paned window, Tudor hood moulding to window in loggia. Panelled opening section beneath rear ground level window. Square-headed door opening to main entrance within conservatory with replacement glazed door. Former coach house incorporated into house retains slate roof and segmental-arched opening now blocked with inset window opening. Former yard to north-west bounded by rubble stone wall with Scotch coping and rendered piers, two-storey outbuilding having profiled metal roof, squared rubble stone walls with brick dressings, decorative ironwork loggia at gable formerly to rear of house. Set back from the road, bounded by rubble stone walls and rendered gate piers.
