Description
Situated at the bottom of a gentle NW-facing slope overlooking the Claureen River, c. 140m to the NW. A D-shaped grass-covered area (int. dims. 32m E-W; 22m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.5-4m; int. H 0.4-1m; ext. H 0.4-1m) with whitethorn bushes W-E but it is truncated by an E-W field wall and does not survive S of this feature. There are traces of a wall on the bank at W, and perhaps elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or entrance. A cashel (CL033-079----) lies c. 70m to the NE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 25 April 2017

Description
Situated on a slight rise in a karst landscape with a turlough c. 80m to the NW. A circular scrub-covered area (int. diam. 26.2m N-S; 24.3m E-W) defined by a stone spread (Wth 3.4m at E to 6.7m at N; int. H 0.4-0.6m; ext. H 0.2-0.8m generally to 2m at N), which is reduced to a stony scarp (H 0.3m) down to the interior S-SW. Facing stones are intermittently visible, especially outer facing stones at N, but the original width cannot be measured. The original entrance cannot be identified.
