Decommissioning of 485 linear meters of sewers along the north bank of the Sally (Dirty) River, in addition to the upstream river crossing, and 648 linear meters of sewer from the Quarry Road Pumping Station to the Clonakilty Road (R-599) via Brookpark including 2 no. existing river crossings of the Sally (Dirty) River and Brewery River. The existing sewers and manholes will be removed where the new pipeline coincides with the existing pipeline (approximately 305m of pipeline in total). All other sections of pipeline will be left in situ when decommissioned. 2. Upgrading and replacement of foul sewer consisting of the laying of c.1,267 linear metres of new underground pipework and associated manholes across public roads (L-4620, L-8691, L-8680, R-599) and private lands, including provision of 3 no. watercourse crossings at the Sally (Dirty) River and Brewery River. 3. Upgrades to Quarry Road Pumping Station consisting of the provision of 2 no. additional storm tanks, inlet screen, 3 no. new storm pumps, rising main diversions, interconnecting pipework and chambers, odour and electrical control infrastructure, overhead cabling, relocation of existing pole-mounted transformer, photovoltaic panels with associated controls / interfaces, provision of new control kiosks and adjustments to perimeter fencing. 4. Upgrades to Longbridge Pumping Station consisting of 1 no. additional storm overflow tank, inlet screen, 3 no. new storm pumps, replacement of existing foul pumps and macerator with 2 no. submersible electric pumps, interconnecting pipework and chambers, replacement outfall pipe, rising main diversions, odour and electrical control infrastructure, overhead cabling, photovoltaic panels with associated controls / interfaces, relocation of existing terminal pole and the existing control kiosk, provision of new control kiosks, and adjustments to perimeter fencing. 5. Tree removal and replacement planting, landscaping, and all associated site development and reinstatement works including ancillaries and excavation works above and below ground for the proposed works. The project will be constructed in the Dunmanway Agglomeration area licenced under the Waste Water Discharge (Authorisation) (WWDA) Regulations 2007 (Licence D0160-01 A). This application relates to a proposed development which requires a review of the existing WWDA Licence. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared in respect of the proposed development and will be submitted to the Planning Authority with this application. The planning application and the NIS may be inspected or purchased at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy at the offices of the Planning Authority, Norton House, Skibbereen, Co. Cork, during its public opening hours i.e. 9.00a.am. to 4.00 p.m. Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Description
Detached five-bay two-storey house, built c.1780, with flat roofed porch addition to front (east), three-bay two-storey block to rear (west), two-storey canted bay to side return (south) and two-storey additional block attached to north-west corner. Hipped slate roof with central valley to main block, hipped slate to rear projection and recent extension. Pair of rendered chimneystacks to main block valley with third chimneystack to rear projection. Cast-iron rainwater goods throughout with cast-iron service pipes to rear projection having decorative cap. Lined-and-ruled rendered walls with rendered plinth and tooled limestone quoins. Roughcast rendered walls to rear projection with render plat bands to south and west elevations, plain rendered wall to north elevation of rear projection. Roughcast rendered walls to porch with plinth, rendered sill course and moulded cornice. Square-headed window openings to main block and rear projection having render and stone sills. One-over-one timber sliding sash windows to main block and two-over-two timber sliding sash windows to side (south) return of rear projection with raised render surrounds. Margined one-over-one timber sliding sash window to rear (west) of rear projection with stained glass to margins. Replacement uPVC casement windows elsewhere. Blind round-headed opening to rear of rear projection. Fixed recent timber casement windows to canted bay having concrete sills. Round-headed window openings to porch (east) with moulded render surrounds and fixed single-pane windows, having pair of spandrels above. Pair of round-headed door openings to sides (north/south) of porch with moulded render surrounds, panelled timber stained glass doors and fanlights. Round-headed door opening to side (south) return of rear projection within square-headed render surround with timber glazed door and single-pane fanlight. Located in own grounds with remains of three glass houses and associated heating system to south-west including submerged boiler room.
