  Description

  Rectangular flat-topped block of stone (H 1.4m; L 3m; Wth 2m) known locally as Bishop's Rock. Solution holes on upper surface, traditionally regarded as holy water font. Stone removed from original position on parish boundary c. 40 years ago. It now lies c. 60m to NE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.   Description

  In pasture, on SE-facing slope. Circular area (38.5m N-S; 38.5m E-W) enclosed by two earthen banks with intervening fosse. Inner bank, low, earthen (H 0.20m), spread towards outer bank. Intervening fosse shallow, intermittent. Outer bank (H 1.15m) broken to SE (Wth 5.6m). Interior uneven; possible hut site (CO135-057001-) in N half; linear, low bank (L 12m) in S half running NE-SW.
