  Roofless overgrown late 19th century corn mill; situated on W-facing slope adjacent to gravel quarry and overlooking Lee Valley Reservoir. Rectangular structure (12m SW-NE; 8.54m NW-SE), 3-bay, 3-storey with attic; gable-ended. Wheel pit along NW wall, enclosed by high walls, probably housed overshot waterwheel; low tail-race arch. Foundation stone for machinery within. Roofless 1-storey outbuilding added to NE. No trace of mill pond, sluice or aqueduct shown on 1904 OS 6-inch map to NE. Mill (CO072-111002-) to NE.   On grounds of Lee Valley golf course on SW-facing slope. Most southerly of two conjoined ringforts (CO072-112002-). Circular raised area (c. 30m E-W; 30m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 2.7m) SSE->N; to NE separated from interior of conjoined site (CO072-112002-) by low rise; low scarp elsewhere. External fosse (D 0.8m) survives to SSW for short section; rough surface in area of fosse to S and SW->N due to infilling. Interior saucer-shaped and planted with coniferous trees; raised on S and W sides to compensate for hillslope. Limekiln depicted at S bank on 1842 OS 6-inch map; no visible surface trace.   On grounds of Lee Valley golf course, on SW-facing slope. Most northerly of two conjoined ringforts (CO072-112001-). Circular raised area (32m N-S; 30m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 3.5m) WSW->NE with external fosse; slight scarp NE->S; to SW separated from interior of conjoined site (CO072-112001-) by low rise. Outer bank (H 1.4m) survives WSW->NNW. Fosse heavily overgrown and used as dump for stones NNW->NE. Interior slopes down to SE; planted with coniferous trees.   Description

  Detached five-bay two-storey house, built c.1820, having single-storey lean-to glazed porch to front (west). Four-bay wing and recent flat-roofed addition to side (north) and single-storey addition to rear (east). Hipped slate roof to main block and wing having rendered overhanging eaves, rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron and uPVC rainwater goods. uPVC clad eaves to wing. Pitched slate roof to rear addition having redbrick chimneystack. Roughcast rendered walls throughout. Square-headed window openings with tooled limestone sills to main block and rendered sills to wing. Six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows with some uPVC replacements. Timber panelled shutters visible to interior of openings to main block. Round-headed door opening with rendered surround to interior of porch, having timber panelled door with fanlight. Located within own grounds.
