Description
On natural knoll, in rough grazing, on S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 26m) enclosed by stone wall (H 1.4m) SSW->NE; lane skirts site NE->S; natural scarp S->SW. Rock outcrop incorporated into wall to NE and SSW. Interior slopes gently down to SE; possible hut site in N half. In pasture, with rock outcrop to N and NE. Oval mound of burnt material (18m N-S; 12m E-W) cut by stream flowing downhill to E. Burnt material (D 1m) visible in section in stream.
