  Description

  Three stones, reddish in colour, in field overlooking Delehinagh River. Stone A (H 1.02m; 0.89m x 0.41m) and stone C (H 0.91m; 0.81m x 0.25m) were adjacent, while stone B (H 1.02m; 0.71m x 0.25m) was 3m from A (UCC). No visible surface trace.   Description

  In pasture, on E-facing slope. Oval raised area (46m N-S; c. 38m E-W) defined by scarp (H 1m) with slight internal lip (H 0.2m); external fosse (D 1m); outer bank (H 1m) with berm along inner face to S and W. Entrance to ENE.   Description

  In NW quadrant of ringfort (8267). Investigated by Hartnett (1939, 56), who described a single rectangular stone-built chamber '6 feet by 4 feet' (long axis NW-SE) with rounded corners roofed with stone lintels; walls tend to narrow towards top.   Description

  This is the present location of CO061-079003-. Discovered c. 1840 when flour mill demolished on site of possible ringfort (CO061-079001-); a second ogham stone apparently found with it (CO061-079004-). This stone (H 2.4m x 0.8m x 0.15m) was used as a foot bridge over Delehinagh river (Hartnett 1939, 74) until 1851, when erected nearby beside St. Olan's holy well (CO61-089002-), where it remains today (Macalister 1945, 120,no. 122). Inscription worn and damaged but read by Macalister (ibid.) as MADORA MAQI DEGO.   On W side of road, c. 450m NE of early ecclesiastical enclosure (9199). Well enclosed by roughly circular stone-built structure with small opening facing E. Votive offerings around well.   Road bridge (Wth 8.1m) over Delehinagh River, just E of St Olan's well (9271). Originally six rectangular lintelled openings but only four remain, on E side (Wth 0.9m-0.97m; H c. 1.3m); low pointed breakwaters on up-stream side, recently repaired.   Description

  Detached three-bay two-storey house built c.1940, having abutting single-storey extension to rear (north). Pitched artificial slate roof with rendered corbelled chimneystacks, timber bargeboards to gables and cast-iron rainwater goods. Roughcast rendered walls. Square-headed window openings having rendered sills. Tripartite windows comprising of central one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows with flaking fixed sidelights to front (south) elevation. One-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows to rear. Square-headed door opening with timber panelled door having overlight and flanking sidelights opening to concrete steps. Single-storey outbuilding to rear with pitched artificial slate roof. Rendered walls and square-headed openings with replacement timber fittings. Square-profile rendered gate piers to front of site with decorative capitals flanking wrought-iron gates. Pedestrian entrance to north of site. Set within its own grounds.

  Description

  Detached cruciform-plan five-bay two-storey with dormer attic house, built c.1780, having central full-height bowed breakfront bays to front (south-east) and rear (north-west). Lean-to single-storey extension to rear. Half hipped slate roof with cut stone eaves course, hipped slate roofs to breakfronts. Rendered chimneystacks to rear and cast-iron rainwater goods. Rendered walls to front elevation with white washed walls to side (south-west) and rear elevations, exposed rubble stone walls to side (north-east) elevation. Square-headed window openings having tooled limestone sills and one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows. Six-over-six pane timber sliding sash window to side (north-east) elevation. Square-headed door opening set in breakfront of front elevation, having replacement glazed timber door, partially blocked. Square-headed door opening to extension having timber battened door. Two-storey outbuilding to rear (north-west) having pitched corrugated-iron roof, rubble stone walls and mixed square-headed and segmental-arch openings. Set within its own grounds.
