Description
Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1890, facing south, end bays having gables and double-height canted-bay windows, east elevation also having canted-bay window, gabled full-height stairs return to rear, and having single-bay two-storey addition to west end of rear elevation and lean-to three-bay single-storey addition to rest of rear. Gabled bays to east and west side elevations. Hipped slate roof with decoratively carved timber bargeboards with finials to all gables, clay ridge tiles and rendered chimneystacks. Pitched slate roofs to gables and to two-storey addition and stairs return. Painted rendered walls, roughcast to rear elevation, with render plinth course. Bay windows have moulded render cornices, bay window of east elevation also having string course, and front elevation first floor windows having render panels to aprons. Timber sliding sash one-over-one pane windows throughout with render sills, having paired slender openings over entrance doorway. Segmental-headed window to centre of east bay window, with moulded rendered window surround having panelled pilasters with roundel motifs, and triple keystone. Oculus to upper gable of east elevation. Tudor-arched window opening to stairs return, having margined window with stained glass. Recessed segmental-headed entrance doorway with chamfered surround, render label-moulding with ornate stops, paned overlight, sidelights with panelled timber risers, limestep step and threshold, and replacement glazed timber door. Segmental-headed doorway to east elevation, with overlight having decorative glazing, timber panelled double-leaf door, and cut limestone step and threshold. Detached three-bay single-storey gate lodge to north, with canopy to entrance, return to rear and single-bay two-storey extension to sloping south end, having skirt artificial slate roof with rendered chimneystacks, timber bargeboards and finial to canopy, roughcast rendered walls, and square-headed replacement uPVC windows having render label-mouldings and sills, and round-headed door opening having glazed overlight and half-glazed timber panelled door.

Description
Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1890, facing east, having three-bay rear and side elevations, with slightly projecting bay to front and south elevations and to each end of rear elevation. Front has canted-bay windows to end bays, that to south bay and that to south elevation being full-height. Slate roofs, pitched to gables and hipped to bay windows and to projections and middle bay of rear, with brick chimneystacks, clay ridge crestings with finials, ornate rainwater goods and decoratively carved timber bargeboards with finials. Dormer window to rear with carved timber bargeboard. Painted rendered walls having recessed render panels to bay windows. One-over-pane timber sliding sash windows throughout, with painted render sills. Window to middle bay of rear elevation being round-headed with margined stained-glass and square-headed elsewhere. Oculus to gabled front end bay with fixed glazed window and rendered hood-moulding. Segmental-headed entrance door opening with render hood-moulding having decorative stops and fluted keystone, timber panelled door and sidelights, and cut limestone threshold. Two-bay two-storey former stables to rear, with dormer windows, having single-pitched slate roof with brick chimneystacks and carved timber bargeboards, painted rendered walls and square-headed openings with four-over-four pane timber sliding sash windows with painted sills, and timber battened doors. Painted rendered square-profile piers to road entrance, with moulded gables to all sides of caps, cast-iron vehicular and pedestrian gates, set to rubble sandstone walls with render coping.

Description
Detached three-bay two-storey house, built 1872, with gabled-fronted end bays having two-storey canted-bay windows. Gables also to north end bays of side elevations. Pitched slate roofs with chimneystacks having decoratively moulded copings, and with ornately carved timber bargeboards to gables, with terracotta finials, and square-profile cast-iron rainwater goods. Smooth rendered walls to front elevation and lower parts of side elevations, with pebbledash and platbands to side elevations. Round windows to upper parts of side gables, with moulded surrounds. Square-headed one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows elsewhere. Canted bays have sill courses, with moulded cornice to ground floor and with panels to aprons of first floor windows. Paired windows to middle bay of first floor, with ornate cast-iron balcony. Segmental-headed doorway having chamfered surround and recessed timber panelled door with sidelights and overlight. Gardens to front of house with mature trees. Rubble limestone boundary walls to road, with dressed coursed limestone recessed entrance walls having square-profile piers, outer piers having copings and plinths and inner having moulded caps with ball finials and decorative cast-iron double-leaf gates.

Description
Detached five-bay three-storey house, built c. 1820, facing south, having two-storey canted end bays, lean-to verandah to middle bays, and gablets to second floor windows, and oriel windows to east and west gables, green-house below west gable oriel, and two-bay two-storey addition to rear at west end. Pitched slate roof with overhanging eaves having carved timber brackets, cast-iron ridge crestings, rendered chimneystacks, and with carved timber bargeboards to gables and to gablets. Hipped slate roofs to bay windows and oriel windows. Flat roof to extension. Smooth rendered to ground floor of front elevation and to canted bays, roughcast elsewhere. Moulded render string course between storeys to bay windows. Square-headed window openings throughout, with rendered sills and one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows, margined except for bay windows. East oriel has two-over-two pane window with diagonal boards to apron panels, and decorative corbel. West oriel has timber casement windows with overlights and timber boarded apron. Square-headed entrance door opening with moulded render surround with plinths, timber panelled door and polychrome tiled paving to front. Verandah has single-pitch glass roof supported on chamfered square-profile timber posts with limestone plinths and having decorative spandrels to form pseudo-four-centred arches. Lawns to front, with flight of moulded limestone steps from house terrace. Multiple-bay two-storey outbuilding to west with loading door having carved timber bargeboards, pitched slate roof, coursed rubble sandstone and brick walls, and square-headed openings with timber casement windows and timber battened half-doors. Segmental-arched vehicular entrance to front elevation. Square-profile rendered piers to road entrance, with heavy moulded caps and double-leaf cast-iron gates, set in curving walls terminating in similar pair of piers.
