Description
In pasture with commanding views to SW and W. Fallen rectangular stone (L 4.7m; 1.4m x 0.35m) with one packing stone resting on its upper surface at E end. Socket (D 0.6m) with more packing stones also noted at E end. Possibly aligned NW-SE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Description
In rough grazing on SSW-facing slope. No visible surface trace. Possible mislocation rectified rectified on 2nd ed. map as fallen standing stone (CO127-016---), in adjoining field to W, is marked 'Gallaun' on OS 2nd ed. map but not on OS 1st ed. map. Description
In pasture, on a terrace on a S-facing slope. A roughly rectangular area (11.8m N-S; 8m E-W) enclosed by a stone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.75m) on its E, S and the E part of its N sides and unenclosed elsewhere.
