  Description

  In pasture, on E-facing slope. According to local information, recently infilled hollow known as 'soldier's grave'. Shadow site (aerial photograph CASAP, January 1986) of two parallel scarps with possible fosses in vicinity of burial. No visible surface trace of these when site inspected. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
