- CO076-138 Burnt mound
Description
A burnt mound was uncovered during monitoring of topsoil stripping in the north-west corner of the development area (licence 19E0359). The mound is comprised of black charcoal rich silty clay and heat-shattered sandstone, it measures roughly 10m N/S, 8m E/W and 0.3-0.5m in depth.
