Description
An oval-shaped area, 8.8m NNE-SSW × 5.9m and 1.25m high, although heather covered, seems to be a cairn. It is situated just W of the summit of Crockaughrim in rough mountainous territory. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.' - Oratory of the Assumption, church/chapel, 1940–1960
Description
Detached three-bay gable-fronted Catholic church, built c. 1950, having eight-bay side elevations (north and south), central gable-fronted single-bay single-storey entrance porch to the entrance gable (east), single-bay single-storey gable-fronted entrance porch to the north elevation, and with rendered round-headed bellcote to the west gable end. Pitched natural slate roof with clay ware ridge tiles, rendered cross finial to front gable, raised ended gable copings to east and west with rendered skew blocks to eaves, bellcote to west gable, and with cast-iron skylight over altar. Raised rendered gable copings to entrance porches. Smooth rendered walls over projecting plinth. Round-headed windows to side elevation shaving painted sills, leaded coloured glass with bottom hung inward-opening lights in timber sub-frames, and with render hoodmouldings over. Square-headed door opening with render hoodmouldings over, and with battened timber door and double-doors. Timber wainscoting to sill level to interior with timber pews. Set within own grounds incorporating car parking, detached boiler house to rear with monopitch corrugated-metal roof, painted render to walls. Garden and modern stone walls to east of site.

Description
Single-arch hump-backed railway bridge, built c. 1901, carrying small road over the former Buncrana to Carndonagh section of the Londonderry & Lough Swilly Railway line. Railway line now out of use with tracks removed (c. 1935); side elevations now largely covered in vegetation. Now also in use as an agricultural shed with corrugated-metal shed added to the south side. Round-headed arch with red brick voussoirs to arch; squared and coursed rubble stone construction to arch barrels. Snecked and squared mildly rock-faced stone construction to spandrels, abutments and to parapets with dressed stone coping over parapets. Snecked and squared rubble stone wing walls to either side of arch, along sides of former railway cutting, having coping over. Tarmacadam deck with grass verges. Located in the rural countryside to the north-west of Clonmany.
- Ballyliffin Railway Station, railway station, 1890–1910
Description
Detached three-bay two-storey former railway station, built c. 1900, with attached two-bay single-storey former waiting room to west side. Now in use as a private house. Pitched natural slate roof with pierced decorative clay ridge comb tiles, red brick chimneystacks with bracketed cornice and clay pots to gable ends, cast-iron rainwater goods over painted timber bargeboards. Squared and rough dressed limestone walls, yellow brick block-and-start quoins, yellow brick stringcourse over openings at ground and first floor levels with continuous raised terracotta hoodmoulding over, projecting plinth with yellow brick capping. Square-headed window openings, yellow brick flat arches and raised plaster continuous hoodmoulding over, yellow brick block-and-start surrounds over painted cut stone sills, timber two-over-two pane horned timber sliding sash windows. Central square-headed door opening, yellow brick flat arch and raised plaster continuous hoodmoulding over, yellow brick block-and-start surrounds, timber panelled door with toplight over. Set in own grounds, modern boundary walls and gate piers, single-bay, single-storey goods shed to the north-east, pitched slate, roughly dressed uncoursed limestone walls, ashlar block-and-start quoins.
