Description
A mound, now grass grown but said to be composed of shells and known as a midden, is pointed out here on the N side of the 3rd fairway of Ballyliffen Golf Course. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
