- Buncrana Railway Station, railway station, 1860–1870
Description
Detached six-bay-bay two-storey former railway station incorporating probable former station master’s house, built 1864, having projecting two-storey gable-fronted entrance bay offset to the south of centre, advanced two-storey gable-fronted bay to the north end of the main elevation (east), gabled-fronted half-dormers, and single-bay single-storey block and single-storey flat-roofed block attached to the north gable end. Now in use as a public house and restaurant with modern porch to the north end of the main elevation (east), modern two-storey additions to the south, and with additions to the west elevation to former platform now forming part of dining area to restaurant. Pitched natural slate roofs with red brick chimneystacks having yellow brick detailing to margins and with polygonal clay pots, decorative pierced timber bargeboards to gable ends and to advanced gable-fronted bays, ashlar stone coping to dormer openings, and with profiled cast-iron rainwater goods. Red brick chimney breast to the north gable end projects from wall with yellow brick detailing to the margins. Snecked and coursed squared rubble stone walls over projecting smooth rendered plinth, and with decorative brick quoin detailing to the corners. Cast-iron columns to former platform at rear. Square headed window openings, paired at first floor level and tripled at ground floor level, having painted brick reveals and mullions, moulded stone sills, carved cut stone haunched lintels with hoodmouldings over, and with replacement windows. Cut stone plaque to gable apex of advanced bay to the north end of the main elevation having trefoil motif and hoodmoulding. Cut stone shield motifs to gabled bays and breakfront to the south. Central Tudor-arch headed door opening with painted brick reveals, carved haunched lintels with hoodmoulding and overlight, and replacement timber panelled doors. Square-headed doorway to the advanced bay to the south of the front elevation having replacement timber door, and cast-iron quarry-glazed overlight and sidelights. Set back from main approach road to Buncrana from the south with remains of former platform to the west. Former water tower (see 40815016) to the west.
- Buncrana Railway Station, building misc, water tower, 1860–1870
Description
Freestanding single-bay single-storey former railway water tower associated with Buncrana Railway Station (see 40815015), built c. 1864. Formerly surmounted by water tank, now removed. Now disused. flat-roof hidden by low parapet, with cast-iron guttering on red brick cornice. Rock-faced squared and snecked rubble stone walls with flush red brick block-and-start quoins to the corners. Round-headed window opening with red brick block-and-start surrounds, stone sills, and metal windows (now blocked). Square-headed door opening with red brick block-and-start surround and replacement timber door. Set in former goods yard to west of former railway station (40815015), and to the south-west of the centre of Buncrana.
- Bridge, 1895–1905
Description
Four\five-arch railway bridge carrying former Buncrana to Carndonagh section of the Londonderry & Lough Swilly Railway line over the Mill River, built c. 1901. Now disused. Segmental-headed arches having yellow brick voussoirs (six courses) and yellow brick construction to arch barrels. Snecked sand squared mildly rock-faced rubble stone piers, abutments and parapets with moulded brick stringcourse at track deck level. V-profile snecked and squared rubble stone cutwaters to base of piers to the south-east elevation. Ashlar stone canopy\lintel on moulded stone corbelled brackets to north-west side of bridge, below parapet level. Deck now overgrown with vegetation; water pipe attached to the south-east elevation. Located to south of Buncrana town centre, and to the north-east of the former Buncrana Railway Station (see 40815015). Detached three-bay single-storey building adjacent to bridge having pitched natural slate roof with red brick chimneystacks, red brick walls, square-headed window openings with two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows, and square-headed doorway with metal door.

Description
Triple-arch bridge carrying road over the Mill River, built c. 1730. Possibly containing earlier fabric. Round-headed arches having roughly squared rubble stone voussoirs; rubble stone construction to arch barrels. Rubble stone construction to piers, abutments, spandrels and parapets; rubble stone coping to parapets. Foundations of bridge built directly on bedrock forming natural breakwaters. Modern repairs in places. Tarmacadam deck with modern footpath to the north-west side. Located to the south-east end of Buncrana. Former corn mill (see 40815032) to north-west, and mill weirs.

Description
Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1820 and altered c. 1860, having modern single-storey addition to the north gable end. Pitched natural slate roof with projecting rendered or cut stone eaves course to east elevation, blue-black clay ridge tiles, brick chimneystacks to gables ends (north and south), and with cast-iron rainwater goods to east elevation and replacement rainwater goods to west. Roughcast rendered rubble stone walls. Square-headed window openings having some remaining stone sills, and with two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows and with central six-over-six pane timber sliding sash window at first floor level over front door. Central square-headed door opening to east elevation having smooth rendered reveals, painted stone plinth blocks, replacement timber door and plain overlight. Set back from road in an elevated site to the south of the centre of Buncrana. Flight of concrete steps from road to east into garden. Rendered rubble stone walls to site boundary to the east. Pedestrian gateway to the east having metal gate.

Description
Cast-iron milepost (on circular-plan), erected c. 1880, having domed cap with projecting lip to base. Raised\embossed inscription to its east side reading ‘L.DERRY 10 MILES, BUNCRANA 0 MILES. Located to the west side of the R238 road leading to Derry. Located on footpath outside of modern hotel to the south-west of the centre of Buncrana.
