  An aerial photograph (St. Joseph, AVR 47) indicates a subcircular cropmark c. 35m in diameter here. It is situated on good land near the summit of a small hill.   Description

  There is no sign visible of the 'Fort' marked on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map. A lot of stone is lying about, so possibly it was a cashel.
