Description
A natural exposed surface of rock, aligned E-W and measuring 4.3m × 1.1m. The slightly convex face carries at least 12 cupmarks, both plain and cup-and circles, some with grooves. It is situated in an uncultivated field, which slopes eastwards; heathery, boggy terrain. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.' Description
Large square shaped block (dims. 1.3m x 1.4m x 0.5m) lying on the E side of Lough Fad which is decorated with four separate cup-marks. There is a large central cup-mark with two open circles surrounding it, a second smaller cup mark in the upper right hand corner, this is also encircled by two open circles. In the upper left hand corner is a small plain cup-mark and there is a second, slightly longer plain cup-mark in the area near the lower left hand corner (Nolan 1994, 138). Area marked on 6-inch map was visited but there was no visible sign of the square-shaoed rock with the panel of rock art described above. Description
Detached three-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c. 1820, with windbreak porch to front elevation, bed outshot to rear, single bay extension to bed outshot, two-bay byre to south-west gable. Pitched flax thatched roof with steel rod and pegs and lattice of chicken wire, corrugated-metal roof to extension and byre, chimneystacks to gable ends and extension with blocked capping to extension chimneystack. Lime-wash to rendered random rubble stone walls. Square-headed window openings over painted stone sills, timber two-over-two horned sash windows. Square-headed door opening to porch, timber panelled door. Set in own grounds adjacent road with rubble stone boundary wall and yard to rear.

Description

Pitched flax thatch roof with lattice of chicken wire, stays and pegs, limewashed rendered chimneystacks to gable ends and centre right. limewashed roughcast to rubble stone walls incorporating red brick rubble, raised rendered pilasters to either end of front elevation. Square-headed window openings over painted cut stone sills with uPVC windows. Square-headed door opening to porch with timber panelled and glazed door. Set in own grounds off road with limewashed rendered rubble stone boundary wall with concrete capping. Four-bay single-storey outbuilding to south-west with pitched corrugated-metal roof, concrete gable coping, cast-iron rainwater goods and limewashed rendered rubble stone walls.
