Description
Marked on the 3rd edition of the OS 6-inch map as the W section of a possible circular enclosure. Nothing survives above ground to indicate the nature of the site. It was situated in good grass land. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.' Description
Detached four-bay single-storey vernacular thatched house, built c. 1850, with windbreak porch to front, two-bay extension to west and four-bay outbuilding sited perpendicularly to extension. Now in use as a holiday home. Pitched thatch roof, smooth rendered gable ended chimneystacks with rendered coping. Roughcast rendered walls with smooth rendered plinth course, eaves course and smooth rendered ruled-and-lined porch. Square-headed window openings with uPVC windows, smooth rendered reveals and painted sills. Square-headed door opening with matchboard timber door behind half-door. Outbuilding with whitewashed rubble stone walls, pitched thatch roof and square-headed door openings with matchboard timber doors.

Detached four-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c. 1840, with windbreak porch and three-bay extension and attached outbuilding to north gable. Pitched slate roof with clayware ridge tiles, corrugated tin roof to extension, smooth rendered gable ended chimneystacks with rendered coping. Whitewashed rubble stone walls. Square-headed window openings with six-over-six timber sash windows and stone sills. Square-headed door opening with matchboard timber half-door. Outbuilding with pitched slate roof with rendered gable coping, whitewashed rubble stone and smooth rendered walls and square-headed door openings with battened timber doors. Set within own grounds off the Malin to Culdaff road.

Description
Detached three-bay T-plan Catholic church, built 1824, with four-stage tower to west, extended c. 1848, projecting vestry to east. Pitched purple slate roof with ashlar copings and carved skew-ends to gable-parapets, cast-iron rainwater goods and stucco cornice eaves courses; brick chimneystack to vestry. Roughcast rendered walls with ashlar green limestone diagonal buttresses with cast-iron finials to west end, buttresses culminating in colonnettes to tower, ashlar moulded stringcourses to tower. Date-stone to tower reads ‘1836-1936’. Pointed-arch lancet window openings with green limestone ashlar surrounds, hoodmouldings and sills; leaded stained and coloured glass windows; timber louvers to bell chamber of tower. Pointed-arch headed door opening with battened timber double doors with decorative hinges and coloured-glass fanlight. Set within own grounds with graveyard surrounding containing memorial tablets and crosses to graves. Roughcast rendered boundary wall and piers with smooth rendered coping and modern painted steel gates. Timber ribs to coffers of suspended ceiling, timber balustrade to choir-loft, elliptical chancel and aisle arches clad in timber panelling.

Description
Detached six-bay single-storey former national school, dated 1933, T-shaped on plan with single-bay single-storey return to north, now in use as play-group building. Pitched slate roof, grey clayware ridge tiles, yellow-brick on stretcher bond chimneystacks with ashlar coping and terracotta pots, ashlar eaves course and cast-iron rainwater goods. Smooth rendered walls with ashlar name plaque to east elevation. Square-headed window openings with six-over-six and four-over-four horned timber sash windows and ashlar sills. Square-headed door opening with battened timber door. Set within own grounds with random rubble boundary wall with ashlar coping and wrought-iron gate mounted on rubble gate-piers with ashlar coping to south. Single-cell flat-roofed toilet block to rear.

Description
Detached six-bay single-storey over basement Temperance Hall, dated 1891, with projecting single-bay entrance porch, and external entrance stairway to north. Pitched slate roof with moulded yellow brick cornice eaves course, and cast-iron rainwater goods. Roughcast rendered walls with yellow brick block-and-start quoins, yellow brick stringcourse to basement, and smooth rendered tapered plinth. Date plaque with yellow brick surround reads ‘ST CONGAL'S TEMPERANCE HALL BOCAN A.D. 1891’. Paired Tudor-arched window openings with yellow brick surrounds, continuous hoodmouldings, continuous sill course, with one-over-one horned timber sash windows over panelled stall riser. Square-headed window openings with yellow brick surround and painted sills to basement. Blank oculus with yellow brick surrounds to both gables. Segmental-arched door opening to porch with battened timber double doors and glazed overlight and sidelights. Tudor-arched door opening to north gable with yellow brick block-and-start surround and hoodmoulding with battened timber double-doors and glazed overlight. Square-headed door opening to basement.

Detached four-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c. 1800, with bed outshot to rear and attached two-bay single-storey thatched outbuilding to south. Pitched rounded thatched roofs with netting restraint and timber and metal rope stays to eaves, smooth rendered chimneystacks to gables with stepped coping and terracotta pots, and smooth rendered eaves course. Roughcast rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with replacement uPVC windows, and painted concrete sills. Square-headed door opening with replacement uPVC door. Set within own grounds with gravel courtyard to front. Single-storey outbuildings to south-east comprising of pitched corrugated-metal roofs and roughcast rendered walls. Modern metal-clad farm building to north.
