Description
Detached four-bay single-storey direct entry thatched farmhouse, extant 1754, on a rectangular plan originally three bay single-storey. Extended, 1789, producing present composition. Occupied, 1901; 1911. In alternative use, 1990. Sold, 1991. Restored, 1999. Replacement pitched water reed thatch roof on timber construction with chicken wire-covered exposed hazel lattice stretchers to raised straw ridge having exposed scallops, repointed chimney stack, concrete coping to gables, and blind stretchers to eaves having blind scallops. Repointed rubble stone battered walls originally limewashed. Square-headed diagonally opposing door openings with rough hewn rubble stone lintels framing replacement glazed timber boarded doors. Square-headed window openings with rough hewn rubble stone sills, and rough hewn rubble stone lintels framing replacement timber casement windows. Set in own grounds.

Description
Located on a W-facing slope under rough pasture with views of Piperstown Hill to the N and Glenasmole to the SW. Two of five parallel lines of boulders described by Healy (1961, 117) survive. They comprise of closely set granite boulders (H 0.6-1.15m) placed on their long axis running NW-SE towards Piperstown Hill and the head of the Glenasmole-Glencree Valley. Description
Known locally as the 'Shed Stone' this tomb is situated on the N bank of a stream at the head of Glenasmole valley. It comprises of an oblong boulder (L2.30m, Wth 1.90m; 0.75m) single chamber (int. dims. L 1.25m; Wth 0.9m-1.45m; H 1.35m) supported by two granite portal stones (H 1.08m and 0.55m respectively) and a backstone of granite that carries a massive capstone (L 2.1m; Wth 1.6m; D 0.6m). Description
Detached four-bay single-storey house, c.1820. Rendered rubble walls. uPVC casement windows. Timber door in porch. Brick eaves course, blank gables and rere (west) elevation to road. Gable coping with returned kneelers. Pitched slate roof and rendered chimney stacks. Lean-to outbuilding to north. Projecting stone in gable possibly used to secure original thatch ropes.
