  Description

  In a level tilled field. Marked on OS 6-inch maps as a circular enclosure (D c. 40m). No visible surface trace survives. Costello (1903, 3) noted that 'the greater part of this fort was levelled and the ditch filled with stones'. There is a souterrain (GA029-010001-) within the interior.   Description

  Within S half of a ringfort (GA029-010----). Fairly well-preserved drystone-built souterrain consisting of two chambers connected by a creep. Present access via displaced roof lintel in 1st chamber L 12m, Wth 1.7m) which runs E-W. The E half is robbed out. A creep and short passage (L 4m, Wth 0.9m) near SW end lead to 2nd chamber (L 8m) which runs NW-SE. • GA029-012 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  In tillage overlooking marshy land to SW. Marked on OS 6-inch maps as an oval enclosure (N-S c. 75m, E-W c. 50m). No visible surface trace survives. Probably a bivallate ringfort as Costello (1903, 2-3) noted the existence of 'two mounds and intervening ditch'. The inner face of the inner bank contained 'several large stones still remaining and it was probably when perfect, faced with these boulders' (ibid).
