  Description

  On a ridge in undulating grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular cashel (N-S 46m, E-W 41m) defined by a low grassed-over drystone.wall. There is a souterrain (GA071-012001-) in the interior.   Description

  Within NE quadrant of a ringfort (GA071-012----) which slopes steeply to SE. An exposed drystone-built souterrain, roughly Z-shaped in plan, which follows the lie of the land: the SE extremity is c. 3.5m below the level of NW end. The passage (L 10.5m, Wth 2.1m) runs NE-SW before turning, at NE end, on a NW-SE axis (L 7.4m) and then an E-W axis (L 6.5m) at SE end. It is unroofed apart from two lintels visible at E extremity.   Description

  In undulating grassland. Poorly preserved grassed-over subcircular platform (N-S c. 45m, H 0.7m) defined by a scarp save from NW to N where it has been quarried out. Slight traces of an external fosse are evident from WSW to W. Possible stone-facing is visible on the scarp from SE to S and from WSW to W. The interior slopes to S and is extremely uneven with much stone protruding. There is an oval hollow (WSW-ENE 22m, N-S 11m) in S half enclosed by a low bank. Possibly a partially levelled ringfort, but the remains also resemble those of a low revetted mound.   Description

  In grassland. Subcircular cashel (E-W 40m, N-S 35.5m), in fair condition, defined by an inner drystone wall, a berm, an earthen bank, a fosse, a berm and a poorly preserved outer drystone wall. The latter is cut by a field wall at W, and all the enclosing elements have been partially destroyed at SE and SW. A gap at SE, although modern, may have given original access. In SW sector of the interior is a souterrain (GA071-014001-). There is also a small circular earthwork (D 9m) c. 5m NE of the cashel. Defined by a grassed-over stony bank, it has traces of an internal subdivision: possibly a house. • GA071-014001 Souterrain
  Description

  In SW quadrant of a ringfort (GA071-014----). All that is visible is an overgrown curving depression (L c. 13m, Wth 2m), up to 1m in depth. It runs NW-SE (L c. 7m) before curving to E (L 6m). Three large stones, possible roof lintels, are visible within the depression. The landowner stated that the souterrain was accessible c. 30 years ago and that the interior was constructed of drystone-walling.   Description

  This subcircular enclosure (9.9m N-S; 9m E-W) lies c. 4.5m to the NE of a cashel (GA071-014----). It is defined by the remains of a grassed-over stone wall. Internal stone-facing is evident at NW and there is an internal division in the SW quadrant of the interior; the latter is also defined by a grassed-over wall. No entrance feature is evident.
