Description
In level pastureland. This well consists of a natural spring delimited by a circular drystone surround (D 1.6m) and is accessible at W via five steps. There is a small aumbry inside the entrance on N side. The OS Letters (O'Flanagan 1927, Vol. 1, 181) note that 'stations were performed on every Sunday, but particularly on the 9th of September, which is said to be St. Kieran's Day'. Description
On a hill summit in undulating grassland. This poorly preserved cashel consists of an almost circular area (NW-SE c. 24.2m, NE-SW c. 23.5m) defined by a collapsed grassed-over drystone wall from E through S to N, and by a scarp from N to E. An irregularly shaped annexe (c. 13m by c. 9m), defined by a grass-covered collapsed stone wall, abuts the cashel wall at E. Traces of old field walls are visible to W. Description
Detached four-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c.1800, having dormer attic, and late twentieth-century lean-to extension to most of rear elevation. Pitched thatched roof with shallow raised ridge, rendered copings and low rendered chimneystack. Whitewashed walls. Square-headed widened windows with replacement metal frames, and square-headed glazed timber door.
