  Description

  On a rise in undulating grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (NE-SW 48.6m) defined by a bank, intervening fosse and possible outer bank. A field wall cuts the monument at NNE and SSE and no visible surface trace survives to E of it. The inner bank is present at SSW and NW; elsewhere a scarp forms the enclosing element. The fosse and possible outer bank survive from S to SW and at WNW.   Description

  On NW slope of a ridge, c. 30m to NE of an enclosure (GA041-017001-). All that survives are traces of a double drystone wall (Wth 0.95m) from WNW through N to NE. This is defined by foundation stones set on edge, and a rubble core. Elsewhere the monument is completely overgrown. Architectural heritage

• Saint Mary's Catholic Church, church/chapel, 1800–1880 · Regional interest
  Description

  Freestanding cruciform-plan Roman Catholic church, built c.1820, having three-bay nave, two-bay transepts, and chancel and embellishments added c.1870. Gabled porch to south end of chancel and flat-roofed sacristy to north end. Pitched slate roofs with render copings to gables topped by cross finials, and having ashlar limestone bellcote to north gable having copings and carved cross finial. Gutters supported on rendered brackets. Roughcast rendered walls. Pointed double-light windows having hood-mouldings, limestone tracery and stained-glass windows. Triple-light east window with intersecting tracery. Sacristy has five-light ribbon window with elliptical-headed lights. Elliptical doorway in west gable of nave, tympanum now filled in, with label-moulding. Porch has rendered prominent gable with render copings and wide pointed doorway with double-leaf timber battened door flanked by render pilasters. Interior has a low arch where the east wall was originally and an open timber A-framed trussed roof, and marble reredos and altar.

  Description

  Detached three-bay single-storey house, built c.1840, now in use as presbytery, having slightly recessed entrance bay, and having later extensions to rear. Hipped slate roof with wide eaves and pair of chimneystacks to centre of ridge. Rendered walls with painted plinth. Square-headed windows having limestone sills and mullioned and transomed windows with replacement uPVC glazing. Segmental-headed doorway having spoked fanlight and timber panelled door with paned sidelights.
