Description
Detached three-bay two-storey farmhouse, built c.1820, now derelict. Three-bay single-storey outbuilding attached to south gable, having monopitch corrugated-metal, formerly pitched, roof and rendered limestone walls. Hipped slate roof with lead flashings, cast-iron rainwater goods, and two rendered centrally placed chimneystacks. Rendered walls with eaves course. Square-headed window openings with timber sliding sash windows throughout, double four-over-four pane to ground floor, and possibly one-over-one pane to first floor, with some three-over-six pane windows to rear, and limestone sills. Round-headed doorway with tooled limestone block-and-start surround and timber sheeted door with spoked fanlight. House set perpendicular to road with rendered boundary wall to front garden and metal pedestrian gate. Farmyard to rear enclosed by rubble limestone walls.
