Internal access tracks, site landscaping and drainage works, security fencing, CCTV and all associated ancillary site development works. IX. The decommissioning and reinstatement of the solar farm at the end of its operational life, including proposed transformer compound.   Description

  This burial ground would appear to have been cut in half by a fieldbank, and there are no surface remains of the site in the field to the SW. All that remains today is a semi-circular earthen enclosure (KE011-035001-) measuring internally 28m NE-SW and 45m NW-SE. The interior is raised considerably above the surrounding land. A quarry has slightly cut the SW corner of this site. An earthen ridge running across the interior of this site in an E-W direction measures c 6m wide at the base. A1.4m wide fosse would appear to run along this bank on the N side. The external height of the bank measures .6m-.8m, the internal height of the bank .3m-1.3m and the width of the bank at the base c 6m. The highest point of the interior measures 4m above the surrounding land. This site is marked on the 1841-42 OS map as 'Kilmeany Burial Ground' and on the 1939 map as 'Kilmorna Burial Ground (disused)'. The above description is derived from C.   This site consists of a horseshoe-shaped mound which displays burnt stones at exposed sections. Its external maximum diameter measures 15m N-S and 16m E-W. At its highest point it measures .7m above the surrounding land. In the WNW sector the horseshoe-shaped depression measures 6.9m x 8.3m x .6m deep. The above description is derived from C. • KE011-040 Ringfort - rath
  Description

  Internal diameter 28m N-S, 24m E-W Lisheendonnell/Lisín Dónaill (little ringfort of Dónall - personal name) is situated in the SW corner of the Black Wood and NE of the River Feale. This univallate rath consists of a sub-circular area enclosed by a bank and an external fosse. The NW to W sector has been cut slightly by a field drain. The enclosing earthen bank is 5m wide and rises to a height of 1.8m above the fosse and 1m above the interior. The U-shaped external fosse can be traced for most of the site, where it is 1m-1.6m wide and .6m deep; it cannot be traced NW to W due to a modern drain. The above description is derived from C.
