Description
In level tillage in a bend in a small E-flowing stream. Visible on 1970 aerial photograph (CUCAP BDH 66) as the cropmark of a of a broad fosse defining a rectangular enclosure defined by a cropmark of a broad fosse (est. c. 50m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE); possibly a moated site. Description
Reported by Jean-Charles Caillere. Visible on Google Earth imagery (11-8-2022) in level tillage as a large rectangular area (L c. 50m NNE-SSW; Wth c. 40m) defined by the cropmark of a narrow fosse, with a possible entrance gap at the enclosure’s SSW end.
