  Description

  In level pasture. Circular area (dia. 31m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.65m) SW-NW and N-NE, and by scarped edge (H 1.45m; Wth 2.3m) NW-N and NE-SW, with external water-logger fosse (D 0.85m; Wth 5.6m). Fosse opens out into a small pond at NW; pond has a retaining wall on its N side. Intermittent trace of external bank (H 0.2m; Wth 3.3m) NW-SW, on top of which number of mature deciduous trees are growing. Causeway entrance at SE (Wth4.2m).   Description

  In pasture, in locally raised area of generally level pasture. Monument, depicted as circular enclosure on 1924 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled. However, it is still evident as circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by barely perceptible bank (H c. 0.2m) with external fosse (D c. 0.5m).   Description

  In undulating pasture. Roughly circular area (28m E-W; 30m N-S) enclosed by low broad earthen bank (H 0.2m; Wth 1.6m). Gap (Wth c. 6m) in bank to E. Field boundary shown skirting site SW->N on 1924 OS 6-inch map has been removed W->N; site now incorporated into pasture field. Interior slopes down towards centre and surface uneven, probably due to dumping. A limekiln, but no enclosure, is shown here on 1841 map. This site may be an infilled quarry.
