  Description

  In pasture, atop low rise. Circular area (29m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 3.3m) with external fosse (D 0.35m; Wth 2.6m). Field boundaries abut enclosure at N and NW. Enclosing element and interior masked by dense overgrowth of briars, bushes and nettles. Fosse at S used as dump for old cars. Moated site (CO038-133---) c. 20m to NE.   In dry level pasture. Ringfort (038-132---) located c. 30m to SW. Rectangular area (21.2m E-W; 21.8m N-S) defined by an earthen bank E->NW (int. H 0.8m; ext.
